Adventures at SFA was a blast because not only did we learn about the campus we also got to learn our way around the campus as if we were an actual college student.
While walking around the campus we got the chance to enjoy the people around us and the feel of the campus. During our visit we also learned about the jobs we would be able to have there while attending that would help us pay for college.
Visiting SFA helped open my eyes to all the opportunities they have there and things they have to offer. They even have my major and opportunities to help me fulfill my dream. SFA has motivated me to try harder in class so I can go there because there campus is just wonderful. Now, I have to start having better grades so I'll be able to get into that college and become a lumberjack.
I know SFA has the classes I will need to become someone in life because I'm tired of having no goal in life. I know not many things will come my way, but now I understand I have to work hard to get them, because they aren’t going to be handed to me. I'll have to work hard my freshman year to my senior year to fulfill my goal in life and feel proud of myself for once.
Personally, SFA has been an eye opening experience because since visiting the campus and learning about it the more I could see myself going there and being a lumberjack. I want to play sports and just be a leader there. I want to go and be a leader so I can say I was a leader at SFA and an inspiration to many that followed me. I can also serve as an example for future college students and tell them about my experience when they come to SFA like we did in 8th grade.
Our trip to SFA really made me what to become someone new because I'm tired of looking up to people. I want people to look up to ME and by going to SFA I'll have my opportunity to give someone a reason to look up to ME!
